Ayumi Yamaki, a project assistant professor at IFI, together with co-authors, received the Outstanding Paper Award from Journal of Chemical Engineering of Japan for their paper entitled "Comparative Life Cycle Assessment of Energy Storage Systems for Connecting Large-Scale Wind Energy to the Grid".

This prize is awarded annually to authors of outstanding papers published in the Journal of Chemical Engineering of Japan. The winners are carefully chosen by the editorial board.
